AN INTRODUCTION: FAITH & SPIRITUAL WELLBEING BLOG

Updated: Sep 3

Introducing our Faith & Spiritual Wellbeing Blog

BREAD & WATER CAFE

It is a devotional faith blog. As Christians, we believe that the Word of God is alive and active and is literally able to transform lives, through a process of renewing of the mind and by the power of the Spirit of God. (Heb 4:12 & Romans 12:2) The word of God gives comfort, peace, counsel, encouragement, strength, protection, and wisdom. God has also given his word for forgiveness, healing, recovery and restoration of our lives. When we believe the word of God and learn to apply it in our own lives and live by its instruction, it will transform us, help us in times of need and different challenges that we face in life. It causes us to become more confident in who we are in Christ and in our relationship with our Lord Jesus developing a much deeper and richer fellowship with Him and the Holy Spirit. So that we live our lives fulfilling our purpose and bring pleasure to Him.

Joshua 1:8 tells us that “ This book of law (bible) shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 2 Timothy 3:16 -17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Why Bread & Water? Bread and water are vital for life both naturally and spiritually and going without them past a certain period a person would die. Bread (representing various food types) that sustain our physical life and also representing the spiritual food (word of God ) which sustains our spiritual life and the Lord Jesus (the Son & Word of God) who gives eternal life and sustains it, for those who believe and accept Him. Water is vital for our physical life, without it we will die. Spiritually Water represents both the Spirit of God and the Word of God. By F Delaney
